“Preserved Memory”

My inspiration for this piece was the years of saving bouquets and flowers to remind me of special events in my life. The flower rests in a three-dimensional frame entirely made of paper. The flower is made from newsprint. I chose to keep the colors monotone so the frame, flower and memory would all age together.
